How can you undo the effects of hair relaxer?

well i have african hair and yesterday i was forced to have it relaxed by my parents. but it wasn't a complete relax just a little bit

so i want to know how to get it as close as possible to the state it was in before(tight curls and poofy)

how can i do that? How can you undo the effects of hair relaxer?
once relaxes its relaxed how ever as it grows out and you have new growth it will be curly from the new growth areas at the base of the scalp. Once it starts to grow out your hair will slowly get back to its state. You can shampoo and put a curl enhancer by Pantene or Paul Mitchell that wil give you the original look but straighter curls. I love relaxers and my hair has been relax since I was 4yrs old and I have real kinky hair but i Love it straight and the advantage of a relaxer is its straight but you can roller set curls or spirals and its curly BUT easy EASY to comb through and your hair grows longer and faster without breakage from the natural curl pattern.

any questions send me a tweet on twitter site amking777How can you undo the effects of hair relaxer?
You can't. Unfortunately relaxers are permenant (despite what the other answer says.) It won't just revert back; the relaxed part has to grow out. Therefore, you have to wait until the curly hair grows in again, which may take awhile depending on how much hair you have.

If you decide to grow it out, keep it in good condition by keeping it moisturized. You can always blow dry it after you wash it to keep it from looking nappy in the mean time. If you really want curls, you'll have to use rollers or a curling iron.

The grow out method is frustrating, so you can cut your hair or braid it while you wait so your hair will still look nice. I grew mine out, it took a year or so and I cut it and started over again.
The only way to reverse the effect of having your hair relaxed is to let it fall out or cut it off and start all over again.
dont do another one

Good luck
