Do over the counter hair relaxers actualy work?

I am white, but have naturally curly frizzy frizzy course hair. I thought about buying a hair relaxer for african american hair, but dont know if it will work or not. Has anyone tried them and had any success with the product? P. S. I bought an over the counter system at a beauty supply shop and had no luck with it.Do over the counter hair relaxers actualy work?

You can get it relaxed at the salon but I've gotta tell you I did it and my hair was exactly the same only $200 more expensive. But that was a few years ago so maybe they have better ones for our hair type.

NOOO!! Perms are made for african americans! Your hair will be damaged if you continue to perm your hair. The best thing you can do is get you a heavy duty Flat iron. Wash it and then Flat iron it!
